The sound of the Marine Band 1896 harmonica is firmly linked to the sound of the blues from its American origins to the present day. No wonder - it uses an almost unchanged patented concept from 1896. It is thus able to express with intensity the intimate human feelings inherent in the blues. The body of the instrument is made of double varnished pear wood, i.e. it is protected against moisture absorption and expansion. The harmonica also features rounded stainless steel covers with side holes, twenty brass heads, 0.9 mm thick brass slices and a range of three octaves.
This particular model uses Richter tuning.
With the harmonica, you also get access to online 30-day harmonica lessons directly from Hohner. The lesson is in English.
