The Rancher model series is a revival of the line of acoustic and electroacoustic guitars based on models that first appeared in the 1950s. In addition to their unique design, these guitars impress with their full and colourful sound. Among the Ranchers, you will find various types of acoustic guitars, making there truly something for everyone.
Body and neck
The body of this instrument consists of a solid spruce soundboard and back and sides made of laminated mahogany. The neck is mahogany and the rosewood fingerboard features 16 frets. The width of the zero fret corresponds to 42.8 millimetres and the menusure to 635 millimetres.
Electronics
The sound of this guitar is also unique thanks to the use of a humbucker-type electromagnetic pickup called the Fideli'Tron. The sound can be controlled by the volume potentiometer
Hardware
The hardware used is Gold. The tuners used are reliable Die-Cast Deluxe tuning machines. The saddle fret set in a rosewood fingerboard is compensated to make the instrument perfectly tuned in all positions.
The Gretsch Rancher is a simple but very good sounding guitar that offers all the qualities known from other Grestch instruments. Try it out, and you'll understand for yourself.
