This instrument comes from the G series, which is a kind of return to its roots. It is a model series that offers classical guitars, so-called Spanish guitars, which were the first thing that Hoshino Gakki started to take from the Spanish guitarist Salvatore Ibanez. The instruments currently on offer were introduced in 2008 and thus combine the classic philosophy of the Spanish guitars - such as the typical body shape or the use of nylon strings, along with the latest construction techniques. These are instruments that will not disappoint you in sound or workmanship.
Body and neck
The front of the guitar body is made of spruce, while the sides and back are made of mahogany. The neck of the instrument is also made of mahogany, a rosewood fingerboard is used, and the headstock is also rosewood. This headstock is shaped to optimally transmit the vibrations of the strings to achieve the best possible sound. Around the sound hole is a colored pad, the soundboard has a trim. In this version a natural high gloss finish is used.
Hardware
The saddle and fretboard are made of plastic. The hardware is gold are used Ibanez Classical mechanics. The factory strings are D'Addario EXP nylon strings.
Electronics
The sound pickup is taken care of by an Ibanez sub-coil piezo pickup working with electronics equipped with a 4-band equalizer.
