SIMON PHILLIPS SIGNATURE SERIES THE PAGEANT

Simon Phillips needs no introduction, as everyone has heard of the drummer who has played with TOTO, The Who and David Gilmour. The legendary drummer has now collaborated with Tama to develop his Signature series of drums, of which The Pageant is the smallest. The name itself could be loosely translated into English as "the pageant" or "the celebration". And there's a good reason for the name - The Pageant will always be a small celebration when you take it out of the packaging.

This drum has been given a seven-ply maple body, cast rims and a very sensitive stringers. This makes it an absolutely ideal effects drum for technical drummers, whether for the studio or for live playing. If it were still used in combination with Phillips' The Monarch or The Gladiator, you get probably the most powerful drum kit you can ever find for rock, fusion or jazz. Of course, this drum is also made in Japan.
