The 1455ST is made from 1 mm thick forged steel and fitted with cast rims. As a result, this means that this snare drum will spread its juicy sound all over the stage and be all over the place. Mike's entire series of drums has been named Melody Master, and the reason for this is obvious after the first stroke - this is an instrument with a really full and melodic tone. Of course, this drum is also made right here in Japan.
