The C3000 has been in the AKG range since 1993, which only confirms its quality. Today, it's the standard for both studio and live capture - and its new, undesigned version offers not only great sound qualities but also a sleek look.
It features a microphone insert with cardioid directional characteristics that works with frequencies from 20 to 20,000 Hz. Its frequency response is extremely balanced, while at the same time the C3000 can operate at high SPL and eliminates the noise generated by handling, as the microphone capsule is very well housed and isolated. A switchable -10 dB pad and a filter to prevent the so-called proximity effect are bonus features.
The advantage is the versatility of this microphone - it will work great for capturing guitars, strings and wind instruments, but also vocals or acoustic guitars. Along with the microphone you will also get a case with a cushioned mount.
