EHX POG 2 is a polyphonic octaver that allows you to harmonize played notes/chords/chord decompositions in four octaves (two octaves up, two octaves down). Simply use the left side of the pedal to adjust the volume of the added octaves and the passing clean signal. To make matters worse, in the right section you can use the three faders to determine the octave effect ramp rate (Attack), where the setting can be used to create swell/reverse effects, the amount of bass frequencies let through/cut (LP Filter), and the amount of octave effect fine-tuning (Detune) in the range of 1 to 2 cents. The DRY FX button determines how the clean signal is routed, where it can bypass/bypass the effects section completely, pass through Attack, Attack/LP Filter, or all three Attack/LP Filter/Detune sections.

Using the Preset knob or footswitch, you can select, dial in and save across the eight presets the POG 2 offers. All pedal electronics are housed in a durable metal chassis. The box operates in true bypass mode, so it does not affect the pass-through signal in any way when switched off. The included adapter is used for power supply.
