This Zoom digital recorder will meet all your expectations of a professional recording device. Whatever you need to record, you'll always be able to rely on perfect recording quality. The recorder is capable of recording up to 140 dB of sound source, which is equivalent to the volume level of a plane taking off. This gives you the opportunity to record everything from very close, louder and with better quality.

A huge advantage of this recorder is the interchangeable microphone capsules. Thanks to them, you can adapt your recorder to any situation. For example, the SGH-6 directional microphone is a great extension of the H5.

The recorder includes two combined XLR/TRS inputs. All inputs have three-level phantom power +12/+24/+48V. Each of these inputs has its own Gain control. The H5 has a line level stereo output, headphone output and thanks to the USB interface the recorder can be used as an audio interface for iPad, PC or other devices. In addition, the integrated speaker allows for instant playback and control of recordings.

The Zoom H5 can be powered for up to 15 hours using two AA batteries or via an adapter (not included). Data is stored on SD or SDHC cards.
