The H1n-VP (ValuePack) includes, in addition to the Zoom H1n portable recorder, the previously only separately available SPH-1n accessory kit. It includes a USB cable, charging adapter, foam wind cover and a carrying case for safe transport.
The Zoom H1n is a new version of the popular Zoom H1 portable recorder. The new version offers easier operation, an advanced limiter for distortion-free recordings, playback speed adjustment, track layering or auto-recording. All in an attractive design and with up to 10 hours of battery life on two AAA batteries.
Zoom H1n records professional quality audio up to 24bit/96kHz in both Wav and MP3 format. Two condenser microphones in the X/Y position enable recording with natural stereo image reproduction. Protective construction is a matter of course.
Important parameters can be easily set with a single button, and the monochrome display, which is readable in both darkness and direct sunlight, also contributes to easy operation.
The recorder can also cope with very loud sound sources (up to 120 dB). It is not a problem to record, for example, a concert of your favourite band. Moreover, thanks to the built-in limiter and HP filter, the recording will be free of distortion and unwanted sub frequencies.
Musicians, students and journalists will appreciate the ability to slow down the recording, which is especially useful when practicing an instrument or transcribing an interview, for example. Individual tracks can also be layered on top of each other, so you can make a basic demo recording or take notes while on the road.
Other useful features include three auto-recording modes as well as a tone generator that matches the recorder and camera levels when capturing video.
If needed, you can also get audio into the recorder via the line input. The line/headphone output has its own volume control, and you can get recorded files to your computer via the microUSB output, so the recorder also works as a card reader.
