The Pro Plus Series from the American brand Jackson represents professional quality electric guitars designed for active musicians and the general music public. The arched body of the Pro Plus Series DKA Metallic Black electric guitar is made of okoumé. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-size stainless steel frets is glued to a bolted five-piece maple and walnut neck reinforced with graphite bracing. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at the higher frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, which guarantee you perfect visibility even in the darkest areas of the stage.
The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB TB-4(B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides a sound that balances aggression and warmth, while also providing the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and a five-position switch that offers split-coil pickup configurations at positions 2 and 4.
Strings are housed in the company's tuning machines and Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
