The arched body of the Pro Plus Series DKA Oxblood electric guitar is made of okoumé. An ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four jumbo-size stainless steel frets is glued to a bolted five-piece maple and walnut neck reinforced with graphite bracing. The combined radius of the fingerboard allows for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred at the higher frets. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl and luminescent dots on the side, which guarantee you perfect visibility even in the darkest areas of the stage.
The combination of Seymour Duncan's JB TB-4(B) and '59 (N) humbuckers provides a sound that balances aggression and warmth, while also providing the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. The guitar can thus be used in a wide range of genres, not just metal and rock. The character of the sound can be adjusted using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and a five-position switch that offers split-coil pickup configurations at positions 2 and 4.
Strings are housed in the company's tuning machines and Floyd Rose 1000 Series tremolo. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
For several decades, electric guitars from the American Jackson brand have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC or djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players.
