The EC-1000 electric guitars with the characteristic rock LP body shape are part of the LTD Deluxe series. Their tone, design, workmanship and playing characteristics fully correspond to professional instruments. They represent a good choice for players looking for a guitar that would represent them with dignity in terms of sound and design.
The mahogany body of the EC-1000FR SEE THRU BLACK is adorned with a spectacular flamed maple top veneer with a distinctive wood grain supported by a See Thru Black finish. A three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, is joined by an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled metal/core riffs. Standard adjustments include two volume knobs, a tone shield and a three-position pickup switch. The Push/Pull tone shutter function lets you split the neck pickup coils to change the character of the humbucker to single-coil in seconds.
The strings are housed in Grover's high-quality tuning machines and a Floyd Rose 1000SE double-turn tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever.
