American company Cleartone has come up with an innovative approach to string finishing for acoustic and electric instruments. Instead of the often-used "coated" surface finish, it comes with its own finish called "treated". This is a treatment in which the strings are coated with a microscopic protective layer equivalent to the size of a micrometer.
