Squier Affinity Series electric guitars represent Fender's most popular electric guitar designs at a fraction of the price of the originals. This makes them an ideal choice for aspiring guitarists and musicians who would like to get a Stratocaster, Telecaster or Jazzmaster but don't want to invest a huge amount of money in buying one.
The Fender Squier Affinity Series Stratocaster Junior HSS Ice Blue Metallic is a Strat with a smaller body and a shorter gauge (610 mm) that will please teens and players who prefer guitars with a more compact body and easier fingerboard. The instrument's lightweight poplar body is covered in a glossy polyurethane lacquer. The bolted maple neck with a narrower "C" profile is glued to a fig fingerboard fitted with 20 Medium Jumbo frets. The fingerboard orientation is facilitated by imitation mother-of-pearl position dots.
The combination of the company's proprietary ceramic magnet humbucker and two single-coil pickups gives the guitar a wide range of tones, so you can test whether classic rock 'n' roll, country, blues or more modern rock is more to your liking. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume and tone controls and the five-position pickup switch.
The strings are mounted in the company's chrome die-cast tuning machines and synchronized tremolo with two-point mounting. The stylish finish is accentuated by the Ice Blue Metallic color scheme and three-layer white pickguard.
