The Epiphone Sheraton Vintage Sunburst semi-hollowbody electric guitar features a narrower "thinline" body made from laminated maple. The maple center block increases the strength of the half-bow construction and resistance to "binding". Glued to the mahogany neck with a pleasing "Slim Taper C" profile is a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on the fingerboard is facilitated by mother-of-pearl position blocks (Mother-of-Pearl, Abalone).
Two Epiphone ProBucker mini humbuckers provide the guitar with a dynamic sound that can be used in a wide range of musical genres. Two volume potentiometers, two tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The strings are mounted in Wilkinson tuning machines and over a LockTone Tune-O-Matic vintage-style (Frequensator Split Trapeze) string bridge. The guitar's refined look is accentuated by the body, fingerboard and headstock perimeter binding, gold hardware, imitation tortoiseshell pickguard and mother-of-pearl company logo and "tree of life" inlay on the headstock.
The guitar comes in a high quality gig bag.
