The RUHZ30TH tenor ukuleles are part of Ortega Guitars' 30th anniversary celebration. As befits anniversary models, these are full-mass instruments with a number of decorative elements that worthily represent the Ortega brand and will surely make you happy.
The body of the RUHZ30TH-JF tenor ukulele is made of AAA quality solid acacia wood. The luxurious wood grain is enhanced by a glossy lacquer finish. An ebony fingerboard with eighteen frets is glued to the mahogany neck. The fingerboard surface is decorated with a blue pearl inlay of a jellyfish, the matchmaking on the higher positions is facilitated by the lower body cut-out.
The strings are mounted in die-cast mechanics in gold finish and ebony fingerboard. The ukulele's refined appearance is accentuated by the body's figured maple perimeter binding complemented by a blue mother-of-pearl inlay, a rosette composed of blue mother-of-pearl and maple rings, and an acacia veneer on the headstock.
The instrument is sounded by a MagusFly/U active preamp with volume and tone controls in the soundhole. The ukulele comes in a matching 30th Anniversary gig bag.
