Ortega Guitars TourPlayer are electroacoustic classical guitars with an unconventional design that combine the sound of nylon strings with the design elements of electric guitars.
The body of the RTPSTD-SBK is made of chambered okoumé, which is complemented by a laminated spruce soundboard. The instrument's narrower chambered body eliminates the common feedback problems of lube designs when voicing. A 20-fret fig fingerboard is glued to a narrow okoumé neck with a rounded "D" profile. The connection of the neck to the body at the fourteenth fret and the lower body cutaway ensure good matching even at higher fret positions.
Sound reinforcement is provided by Ortega MagusX/G active electronics with a three-band equalizer and built-in tuner. The strings are mounted over a bone fretboard in classic tuning machines in black finish and a figwood fingerboard. The nice workmanship is accentuated by the white body and fingerboard binding and pearl position dots on the twelfth fret.
The guitar is supplied in a high-quality case (Ortega TourPlayer GigBag) together with a USB-C cable.
