British brand Tanglewood introduces more affordable acoustic guitars in retro and modern designs.
The TW5 CE NA is an electroacoustic dreadnought guitar. The front of the guitar is made of solid cedar, while the back and sides are made of ply mahogany. The neck made of nato wood, referred to as "eastern mahogany", is glued to an Eboncore composite fingerboard with 20 frets. A practical lower body cutout makes it easier to play at the higher positions of the fingerboard.
Sound reinforcement options include the company's TW Premium Plus preamp with four-band EQ, Phase function and integrated tuner. The strings are held in chrome die-cast mechanisms and a composite headstock via NuBone zero and saddle frets. The beautiful craftsmanship is accentuated by the double-sided maple body binding complemented by black and white lines and a maple rosette.
