The mahogany body of the SG Standard Pelham Blue Burst guitar features a Pelham Blue Burst color finish and a thin nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Glued to the mahogany neck is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Acrylic Trapezoid) facilitate orientation on its surface.
The sound of the instrument is provided by two 490T/490R humbuckers known from Gibson models from the 1960s. Their character refers to vintage PAF pickups, only with less aggressive highs and more clarity in the midrange. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
Stable tuning is ensured by mounting the strings via a Nashville Tune-O-Matic aluminium headstock in the stop bar, and on the other side via a Graphtech zero fret in Grover Rotomatics tuning machines. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by chrome hardware and a black five-ply pickguard.
The guitar comes in a high-quality soft shell case with a set of accessories.
