The Godin Session HT Arctik Blue MN is an electric guitar in the classic ST shape that delights with quality workmanship and more contemporary features with an emphasis on playing comfort (such as a flatter 12-inch radius).
The body of the guitar is made of Canadian silver-leaf maple, and the bolted neck and fingerboard are made of maple. The fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-two Medium-sized frets and black position dots.
The combination of a humbucker at the bridge position and two proprietary single coils gives the guitar a diverse range of sounds, so you can switch between country, jazz, blues or more modern driving rock with complete ease. Adjust the character of the sound with the volume and tone potentiometers and the five-position pickup switch. The tone control has a Push/Pull function that allows you to split the humbucker coils for a pure single-coil sound.
The strings are held in tuning machines with an 18:1 gear ratio and a solid bridge via a Graphtech zero fret. The nice workmanship is accentuated by a semi-gloss ultra-thin finish in Arctik Blue and a practical pickguard in imitation tortoiseshell. The guitar comes in a gig bag.
