The E-II VIPER See True Back Cherry is an electric guitar with an asymmetrical double-cut mahogany body marked Viper. Glued to the mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets. Positioning blocks made of imitation mother-of-pearl facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.
Two active Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers not only provide the guitar with great dynamics and precise tone articulation, but also, thanks to two push/pull drivers, complete sonic versatility. Each humbucker offers three different sonic characters (modern high-output, vintage and single-coil), allowing you to switch between a wide range of musical genres - from jazz/blues and classic rock/hard rock to metal.
The strings are mounted in a Gotoh locking mechanism over a bone zero fret and a Gotoh TOM string through the tailpiece. Nice workmanship is accentuated by black hardware and fingerboard and headstock binding. The guitar comes in a case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
