The single-cut Gretsch G5210T-P90 EMTC JET TWO90 MAKO is part of the Electromatic series. The guitar's chambered mahogany body is adorned with an arched maple top. The mahogany neck with a Thin U profile is glued to a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classic Thumbnail).
The two P-90E single-coil pickups give the guitar a dynamic sound with good articulation of individual notes and chords, which stands out in clean settings and aggressive rock distortion/overdrive. Controls in the form of two volume potentiometers (for each humbucker separately), a tone shutter, a Master Volume potentiometer with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing you to pull down Master Volume without accentuating bass frequencies), and a three-position pickup switch offer comprehensive control over the character of the sound.
Strings are mounted in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and through the Adjusto-Matic tailpiece in a Bigsby tremolo. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of a bright body surround complemented by black and white lines, nickel hardware and a pickguard in imitation tortoiseshell with the Gretsch logo in gold.
