The body of this seven-string guitar is made of mahogany and maple top. The binding surrounding the body, neck and headstock of the guitar contrasts well with the color finish of the instrument. A three-piece maple neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deep into the body, is joined by an Ebony Macassar fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation is traditionally facilitated by position blocks.
Two high-output EMG active humbuckers give the guitar a juicy sound and clear articulation of tone even in the deepest positions, so you can boldly carve sharp core, djent or metal riffs. Adjustments include two volume potentiometers (separate for each pickup), a tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch. The strings are mounted in a stringer and pass through a fixed tailpiece with adjustable string height. Stable tuning is guaranteed by the company's mechanics.
The ESP-LTD EC-407 is therefore a high-quality instrument that will find its place in any band. If you are looking for a guitar that will reliably push your part through the band's sound, try this ESP-LTD.
