The American Vintage II 1973 Stratocaster Mocha Electric Guitar embodies the era exactly - Pure Vintage '73 pickups with fretted pole extensions, a large '70s Fender headstock, "Bullet style" neck bracing or neck plate with Micro-Tilt mechanism for neck adjustment. The guitar's ash body is covered in a gloss polyurethane lacquer. The C-profile neck and Vintage Tall 11-fret fingerboard are made of maple.
Pure Vintage '73 Single-Coil Strat pickups give the guitar an authentic period sound and feel. The character of the tone can be adjusted with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position toggle switch. The strings are housed in Pure Vintage Fender "F" Stamped tuning machines and a synchronized tremolo with steel block and steel saddles. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by a three-ply pickguard.
The guitar comes in a case.
