The alder body of the American Vintage II 1961 Stratocaster Fiesta Red electric guitar is covered in a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer that not only allows the wood to breathe and does not muffle its sound, but also adds a distinctly personal touch as the years go by. Glued to the maple neck with a period-authentic 1961 C profile is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets.
Pure Vintage '61 Single-Coil Strat pickups give the guitar an authentic period sound and feel. The character of the tone can be adjusted with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position toggle switch. The strings are housed in Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines and a synchronized tremolo with steel block and steel saddles.
The stylish workmanship is accentuated by a three-layer pickguard.
The guitar comes in a case.
