The American Vintage II 1957 Stratocaster Vintage Blonde electric guitar is the epitome of the sound and musical legacy of the late 1950s. Inherent in instruments from this decade is a body made of ash or alder, which in the case of current models is accompanied by a glossy nitrocellulose lacquer - this not only allows the wood to breathe and does not muffle its sound, but also gives the guitar a purely personal character as the years pass. Of course, there is a maple neck with a "V" profile and a maple fingerboard with twenty-one Vintage Tall frets.
Pure Vintage '57 Stratocaster pickups give the guitar an authentic period sound and feel. The character of the tone can be adjusted with a volume potentiometer, two tone controls and a five-position toggle switch. The strings are housed in Pure Vintage Single Line "Fender Deluxe" tuning machines and a synchronized tremolo with steel block and steel saddles. The stylish workmanship is accentuated by the single-ply pickguard.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
