The G5420TG Limited Edition Electromatic 50s Hollow Body Single-Cut from the brand's limited edition pays homage to Gretsch's 1950s brass guitars. Its domed arched body with enlarged f-holes is made of laminated maple. Glued to the maple neck with a "standard U" profile is a rosewood fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Perloid Hump Block) facilitate orientation on the fingerboard surface.

Two Black Top Filter'Tron humbuckers give the guitar an authentic Gretsch feel and a wide range of tones that will stand out in rock n' roll, blues and jazz. Sound adjustments include two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shield, an overall volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing you to pull down Master Volume without boosting bass frequencies), and a three-position pickup switch.

The strings are anchored via a Graphtech NuBone zero fret in vintage-style open tuners and an Adjusto-Matic cob mounted on a wooden base in a licensed Bigsby B60 tremolo. The guitar's stylish design is accentuated by the Orange Stain finish, body and headstock binding, pickguard and imitation tortoiseshell pickups and gold hardware.
