Jackson's American Series line represents the finest instruments made in its Corona, California factory. The American Series Soloist SL3 series offers electric guitars with modern Superstrat bodies that have been popular with metal, rock and general fast players for decades.
The construction of the American Series Soloist SL3 Satin Slime Green consists of an alder body and a three-piece maple neck. A pair of graphite reinforcements guarantee the stability of the neck. The ebony fingerboard is fitted with twenty-four Jumbo-sized frets and Inverted Mother of Pearl position markers in a Sharkfin design. The fingerboard radius flattens out towards the body - allowing for both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shred in higher positions. Orientation in even the darkest corners of the stage is made easier by the luminescent "glow-in-the-dark" dots on the side.
The combination of a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 cobbler humbucker and two Seymour Duncan Flat Strat SSL-6 single-coil pickups (the middle one has reversed polarity and windings) gives the guitar a cool dynamic sound and a wide range of tones - from aggressive distortion with a solid bass bottom end to crystal clear clean tones. Adjust the character of the sound using the volume potentiometers, tone shutter and five-position switch.
The strings are anchored by Gotoh MG-T locking mechanisms and a Floyd Rose (1500 Series) tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Tuning stability is guaranteed by locks on the zero fret. The guitar comes in a case (Foam Core Case).
