With a modern Super ST shape and M (Mirage) designation, the guitars are easily identified by their flat top body and pointed headstock with 6-in-line mechanics. The construction of the E-II M-I THRU NT DCARS guitar consists of an alder body and a through-neck made of three pieces of maple. The ebony fingerboard is divided by twenty-four Extra Jumbo size frets and offset position markers with an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
The active EMG humbucker provides the instrument's sound with the fullness, precise articulation and aggressiveness needed for vocal solos, fast guitar shred and sharply hewn rock and metal riffs. The strings are anchored in Gotoh's locking tuning machines via the bone fretboard and through a solid GOTOH GE103B-T bridge through the body of the guitar.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
ESP has been manufacturing electric guitars since 1984 and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
