The ESP E-II series are electric guitars made in factories in Japan, forming a bridge between the top ESP USA models and the more affordable LTD line. These are instruments made with quality materials and components that not only look great, but sound great too.
The construction of the E-II HORIZON FR-II/EMG electric guitar with modern Super ST design consists of alder body wings, a three-piece through neck made of maple and a fancy arched top made of puff maple. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the ebony fingerboard surface. Orientation around the fingerboard surface is facilitated by offset position markers and an ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
Two EMG active humbuckers with stylish black chrome covers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns, while also providing density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Thanks to the push/pull function of both potentiometers, you can split the humbucker coils and change the character of the sound purely to single-coil.
The strings are anchored by Gotoh locking mechanisms and a Floyd Rose Original double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever. The beautiful workmanship is accentuated by the contrasting bright trim on the top, fingerboard and headstock.
The guitar is supplied in a case.
