The ESP E-II Eclipse Full Thickness Tobacco Sunburst is an electric guitar in a traditional single-cut (LP) design with a solid, full-thickness body with no relief. The mahogany body of the guitar is adorned with a solid maple top (maple cap) and a spectacular flamed maple veneer top backed by a Tobacco Sunburst finish. The mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deep into the body, is glued to an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by position blocks and ESP inlay on the twelfth fret.
The two active Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic humbuckers not only provide the guitar with great dynamics and precise tone articulation, but also, thanks to the two Push/Pull drivers, complete sonic versatility. Each humbucker offers three different sonic characters, allowing you to switch between a wide range of musical genres - from jazz/blues and classic rock/hard rock to metal. Two volume potentiometers, a tone shield and a three-position pickup switch are used to make standard adjustments to the guitar tone.
The strings are anchored by Gotoh locking mechanisms and a Gotoh TOM tailpiece and stringer.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
