The body of this guitar is made of poplar. A single piece maple neck with graphite bracing is bolted to a single piece amaranth (purpleheart) fingerboard with twenty-four jumbo frets. Its radius flattens towards the body - allowing both comfortable riffing at the zero fret and comfortable ultra-fast shredding at higher positions. Position markers made of imitation Sharkfin pearl make it easy to navigate the fingerboard surface.
Two proprietary humbuckers with ceramic magnets and a high output signal give the guitar the juicy sound so needed in metal and rock music. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and a licensed Floyd Rose double-turn tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing.
For several decades now, Jackson electric guitars have appealed primarily to musicians from metal, metal/core, HC and djent bands who profess a loud sound with a more or less diluted dose of aggression, as evidenced by the company's roster of players.
