Description of product

Jet-type electric guitars, whether they are models from the basic Electromatic series or the higher Professional series, are united by the use of a solid body with one or two cutouts. These are very versatile instruments that can be used in a wide range of musical styles without any problems.

The G5220 model in single-cut design belongs to the aforementioned Electromatic series. The body of the guitar is made of chambered mahogany and the top of laminated maple. The mahogany neck with a Thin U profile is glued to a fig fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by positional imitation pearloid big blocks.

Two Black Top BroadTron humbuckers give the guitar the necessary sonic versatility, i.e. crystal clear tone and aggressive overdrive. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter and an overall instrument volume control with Treble Bleed circuit (allowing you to pull down the Master Volume without accentuating the bass frequencies) offer comprehensive control over the character of the sound.

The strings are anchored via a synthetic bone fretboard in the company's Die-Cast mechanics and Adjusto-Matic adjustable tailpiece and stringers. The stylish design of the instrument is accentuated by the white body trim complemented by a black and white pickguard, chrome hardware and a silver Plexi pickguard with black Gretsch company logo.
