The G5700 model features a mahogany body and a plastic fingerboard with twenty-eight frets. The fingerboard can be easily oriented with position markers in various geometric shapes. The sound is captured by a Gretsch single-coil pickup. Its character can be adjusted by volume and tone shutter potentiometers. The strings are anchored via the aluminium zero fret in Die-Cast tuning machines and a chrome-plated headstock and stringers with attachment through the body of the instrument. The stylish look of the steel guitar is accentuated by the Art Deco plastic control plate in silver.
