For more than 40 years, the American company Spector has been making top-quality electric basses and now it has decided to venture into the acoustic waters as well. As with the electric models, you can be assured of masterful craftsmanship, quality materials and professional performance.

The Timbre Jr. model is designed to provide maximum playing comfort, which is guaranteed by, for example, a shorter 30" menzura or a smaller body that resembles the shape of dreadnought acoustic guitars. Solid Sitka spruce wood is used for the instrument's soundboard, which provides a very rich and transparent tone that perfectly complements the dense and strongly resonant mahogany on the sides and back. The bolt-on neck is also mahogany and features a fig wood fingerboard or a bone fretboard, for example.

The sound pickup is a piezo pickup from the renowned Fishman company, specifically the Sonicore model, which is complemented by a Fishman Presys+ preamplifier. This, in addition to the integrated tuner, provides you with volume control, a three-band equalizer or a phase switch to help you with unwanted feedback.

The bass comes in a padded case.

The first Spector instruments were built in 1976 in New York. Specifically, it was the design from today's NS series, designed by Ned Steinberger for the company, which remains very popular with professional musicians around the world today virtually unchanged. The company's popularity grew significantly in the 1980s, especially with Sting and The Police, and today these basses are associated with names such as Bryan Beller (Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Dethklok), Guy Pratt (Madonna, Pink Floyd, Michael Jackson), Ian Hill (Judas Priest), Mike Kroeger (Nickelback) and many others. In the late 1980s, the production of instruments was partly moved to the Czech Republic, where the company still manufactures its Euro series. With Spector you can be sure that you will always get a truly top quality instrument in your hands.
