The Delta King 12 all-amp guitar combo offers the sound of the Supro guitars that helped define early Rock & Roll and the so-called British Invasion of the 1960s.
It is a guitar combo with 15 watts of power provided by a 12AX7 tube in the preamp, a 6L6 in the tail amp, and a 12-inch custom DK12 speaker modeled to capture the magical feel of the field-coil speakers widely used in the early days of the electric era. The character of the sound can be adjusted via a three-band EQ and Volume and Master potentiometers, complemented by two switches - a FET transistor-driven Boost function and Pigtronix FAT Overdrive mode, where the guitar sound takes on a thicker rock foundation. A touch of much-needed sonic spice is added by the built-in spring reverb.
The rear panel offers a footswitch input (controlling boost and overdrive functions, footswitch not included), a line output that allows you to use the Delta King 12 as a DI preamp or overdrive before your next machine, and an input to a rear amp.
The quality of the workmanship is accentuated by the combo's stylish art deco retro design, with a poplar cabinet covered in black tolex and tweed and a black front soundhole grille.
