The lime body of the guitar is decorated with a matt metallic finish. The bolted neck and fingerboard are made of maple. The fingerboard is divided by twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets and black position dots. Two proprietary passive humbuckers provide the guitar's sound with the necessary drive. Thanks to the Push/Pull tone shutter function, the humbuckers' coils can be split to expand the sonic arsenal with the character of single-coil pickups. The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and through a fixed fingerboard through the body of the guitar.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984, and its satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company LTD was created to offer popular models in an affordable option. Even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, however, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
