The G2622T-P90 Streamliner semi-hollowbody guitar is sure to please players looking for an instrument with the modern sound and elegant design of Gretsch guitars.
The body of the instrument is made of over-milled mahogany and the center block is made of chambered spruce, which reinforces the guitar's soundboard. The nato neck with a Thin "U" profile is glued to a fig fingerboard fitted with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by oval position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl.
The two single-coil FideliSonic 90 pickups offer the warm tone of traditional P-90 models enriched by distinct, clearly articulated highs. Two volume potentiometers (separate for each pickup), a tone shutter, a master volume control and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound.
Precise tuning is guaranteed by the attachment of the strings via the artificial bone zero fret in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines and in the Adjusto-Matic headstock. A licensed Bigsby B70 tremolo adds subtle sound effects to your playing. The classic eye-pleasing design of Gretsch guitars is accentuated by a number of stylish features - from flared F holes for better acoustic projection, stylized pickup bezels, elegant binding with a subtle hint of patina (Aged White) complemented by black and white lines, nickel hardware and a black single-ply pickguard.
