Description of product

Cort's X Series is a modern electric guitar primarily designed for hard/heavy music production, but you'll also appreciate its sound in classic rock and fusion. Thanks to their affordable price, they can certainly appeal to young aspiring rockers, but they won't offend experienced, technically proficient players either.

Guitars with the X100 designation represent the basic models of the aforementioned series. Their bodies are made of meranti wood and feature an open-pore finish. The bevelled top edge of the body not only gives the instruments an elegant appearance, but also provides musicians with greater playing comfort. A jatoba fingerboard with twenty-four frets is glued to the bolted maple neck. Position dots make it easy to navigate its surface.

Two Cort Powersound proprietary high-output humbuckers provide the guitar with the necessary sonic drive and articulation. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used for sonic adjustments. The strings are held in a six-point tremolo with chrome tuning machines.
