Electro-Acoustic Travel Guitar / HN214380
Compact and lightweight, Yamaha Silent Guitar travel guitars are the ideal companion for travel, home practice and live performance. The instruments' pure acoustic sound is very quiet (ideal for home playing), however the SRT Powered preamp backed by built-in studio-quality effects gives you the beautiful natural sound of acoustic guitars - whether into headphones or out through the line out. A line input for connecting external audio sources is also a welcome plus.
The SLG200S guitars draw inspiration from the design of traditional acoustic and electric guitars (634 mm menza length, 43 mm fret width, ultra-thin body). The original foldable construction consists of a mahogany body, removable rosewood and maple frame/headstock, mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard.
SRT Powered active electronics built into the body of the guitar faithfully simulate the natural resonance of acoustic guitar bodies (microphone pickups). Additionally, thanks to the underdrive piezo pickup, you can choose between pure piezo, SRT pickup and a ratio of the two. Many will also be pleased with the aforementioned built-in effects (two types of reverb and chorus), Aux in input with external audio input volume control and built-in tuner.
The SIlent guitar can be powered by batteries (2x AA) or by a 9-12V DC adapter (center positive), e.g. Yamaha PA-3C, PA-130 (A, B). Adapter not included.
The instrument is supplied in a high quality gig bag.
