Yamaha's A Series electroacoustic guitars are destined for the concert stage. These are instruments in the popular Dreadnought and Concert body shapes, made from premium woods (spruce, mahogany, rosewood) and fitted with SRT electronics, offering a natural acoustic sound at any volume.

The front plate of the AC3M ARE TBS is made of solid Sitka spruce wood, which has undergone A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) technology at the molecular level before assembly. Through precise control of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, the wood achieves acoustic qualities comparable to an instrument that has been actively played for many years. You get your hands on a guitar with "won" wood.

The "All Star" set-up is complemented by solid mahogany on the sides and back of the instrument. The acoustic properties are elevated to a higher level by the new design of reduced X ribbing on the front plate and shortened back plate ribs, which give the guitar a stronger louder response in the lower midrange frequencies. Glued to the mahogany neck is an ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty frets. Maximum playing comfort is guaranteed by the rounded edges of the fingerboard and the lower body cutaway.

The SRT2 (Studio Response Technology) electronics with controls discreetly placed in the guitar's backside allow you to adjust the piezo/mic pickup ratio, combining (or completely replacing) the SRT piezo pickup's more penetrating sound with one of two optional microphone pickup simulations (Mic Type 1: Neumann KM56, Mic Type 2: Royer R122).

The strings are mounted across the Urea plastic saddle and zero frets in the company's chrome Die-Cast mechanics and ebony fingerboard. The guitar's handsome design is accentuated by decorative wooden elements in the form of a mahogany body surround, a rosette composed of mahogany and rosewood fingerboard, and a pickguard made of imitation tortoiseshell shaped after the 1975 N1000 model's pickguard.

The guitar comes in a high quality hard bag.
