The M-1 CTM 87 CAR is an instrument with a body construction consisting of alder wings and a three-piece maple neck. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the Ebony Macassar fingerboard surface. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position blocks.
The Seymour Duncan Distortion (Trembucker) humbucker with ceramic magnet and high output signal provides the instrument's sound with density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs, while also providing the necessary fullness, dynamics and precise articulation for singing solos or chord breakdowns. In terms of minimalist control, the guitar offers the maximum possible - Push/Pull on the coil-split volume knob to change the character of the humbucker to single-coil in seconds, and the EMG PA-2 Boost switch to kick the sound up to +20dB (and you can kiss the volume jump footswitch goodbye).
The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and in a Floyd Rose 1000 double-reverse tremolo, which you can use to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever.
