The mahogany body of the instrument is decorated with a spectacular top veneer of veneered maple. The three-piece maple neck is glued to the body. Twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets divide the jatoba fingerboard, known as Brazilian cherry. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers.
Two proprietary passive humbuckers provide the guitar's sound with the necessary drive. Thanks to the Push/Pull tone shutter function and the ability to split the humbuckers' coils, the sonic arsenal can be expanded with the character of single-coil pickups. The strings are mounted in the company's tuning machines and in a solid cob with through-body anchoring. The stylish look of the instrument is accentuated by the See Thru Purple color scheme and black hardware.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and count Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera among its satisfied customers. Due to the popularity of these instruments, a subsidiary company, LTD, was created to offer popular models in an affordable option. However, even in the case of ESP-LTD guitars, great emphasis is placed on the quality of workmanship and fitted components.
