The EC-1000 electric guitars with the characteristic rock LP body shape are part of the LTD Deluxe series. Their tone, design, workmanship and playing characteristics fully correspond to professional instruments. They represent a good choice for players looking for a guitar that would represent them with dignity in terms of sound and design.
The mahogany body of the EC-1000 BP BLUNFD features a spectacular Burled Poplar top veneer with a distinctive wood grain. The trim around the body, neck and headstock contrasts well with the instrument's color scheme. A three-piece mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, and a narrower, fast Thin U profile is joined by a Macassar ebony fingerboard fitted with twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation around its surface is facilitated by position blocks.
Two passive humbuckers from the respected Seymour Duncan brand give the guitar the necessary sonic drive and great articulation - making the instrument suitable for a wide range of musical genres. Two volume potentiometers (for each pickup separately), a tone shutter and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The Push/Pull tone shutter function allows you to split the pickup coils and change the character of the humbuckers to single-coil in seconds.
The strings are held in the company's high quality locking mechanisms and a solid Tonepros Locking TOM tailpiece and stringer.
