BLACKSTAR Sonnet 120 Black

Blackstar Sonnet acoustic guitar combos answer the question of how an acoustic guitar should look and function. They offer amplification of the natural response of acoustic instruments while preserving all the sonic nuances, including dynamic response, without unwanted distortion/colouring. Each model features two independent channels with separate EQ, studio-quality reverb effects, and user-friendly features in the form of XLR DI and USB outputs or wired MP3/Line or wireless Bluetooth connectivity for audio cues from your phone or other audio/mp3 device.

The Sonnet 120 Black model already pleases at first glance with its stylish design featuring a black cover and black front grille. With 120 watts of power and combined XLR/6.3 mm jack inputs, it expands the 60 model lineup with the ability to connect two instruments or microphones to the combo (condenser microphones can also be used thanks to the optional phantom power). In addition to great sound with full bass, the cabinet's lightweight ported design offers the ability to connect to standard speaker stands (35 mm) using the SA-2 adapter (not included).

The character and color of the acoustic sound can be shaped with the three-band channel equalizers, Brilliance control and Shape buttons. Use the Pad switch to reduce the input sensitivity by -10dB (suitable for instruments with a higher output signal). Potential voicing problems with electro-acoustic instruments are solved by the Anti-Feedback, High-Pass Filter and Phase knobs.

The combo offers four types of reverb effect (Hall, Studio, Chamber, Plate) in studio quality. The intensity and character of the effect's progression can be adjusted with separate Reverb controls for each channel and a common Reverb Time. Other pluses include separate channel effect loops with XLR DI with Pre/Post EQ switching and an FS-17 footswitch input with Mute with Reverb On/Off (not included).
