The G5260T baritone guitar in single-cut design belongs to the aforementioned Electromatic series. The body of the instrument is made of mahogany. The bolted maple neck with a Thin U profile is fitted with a fig fingerboard with twenty-two Medium Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by offset position markers made of imitation mother-of-pearl (Neo-Classic Thumbnail).
The two company mini humbuckers provide the guitar with a defined, articulate sound, even with higher distortion and more pronounced tuning, which the longer neck (756 mm) invites. Volume potentiometers, tone controls and a three-position pickup switch are used to adjust the sound. The strings are housed in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines, Adjusto-Matic adjustable tailpiece and Bigsby B50 licensed tremolo. The instrument's stylish design is accentuated by traditional elements in the form of a bright body surround complemented by black and white lines, chrome hardware and a silver Plexi pickguard adorned with a black Gretsch logo.
