The Japanese brand Yamaha is one of the leading innovators in the field of musical instruments, so it is not a complete surprise that this company has come to the market with an original concept - a series of acoustic guitars TransAcoustic. These instruments offer a rich surround sound with a natural echo of large rooms, even in acoustically uninteresting environments (your home, office and generally smaller spaces) without the aid of external sound systems or pedal effects.

GLLTABS is an electroacoustic guitar with Yamaha's original Jumbo body design. The body of the instrument itself is constructed from premium solid woods - Engelmann spruce front and rosewood back and sides. The spruce wood, i.e. the top of the guitar, has undergone A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) treatment at the molecular level before assembly. Through precise control of temperature, humidity and atmospheric pressure, the wood achieves acoustic qualities comparable to an instrument that has been actively played for many years. You get your hands on a guitar with "won" wood.

The special non-scalloped soundboard ribbing preserves the characteristic bright tone of L-series guitars while enhancing the bass frequencies. A neck glued together from five pieces of mahogany and rosewood, along with two-way bracing, ensures maximum neck stability. Its profile, the hand-rounded edges of the ebony fingerboard and the rounded edges of the frets will in turn give you maximum playing comfort.

An active member (Actuator) installed on the inside of the instrument's back plate reacts to the vibrations of the strings and transmits the vibrations further into the body - in this way creating authentic reverb and chorus effect sounds directly in the body of the guitar. The chorus and reverb controls are discreetly placed in the back of the instrument, and pressing the third control (TA Switch) activates the TransAcoustic mode. The guitar also offers a standard external PA option (SYSTEM70 TransAcoustic electronics with piezo pickup), with the TA Switch acting as an output volume control. A handy pull-out battery box is located next to the output jack.

The strings are mounted across the Urea saddle and zero fret in the company's Die-Cast tuning machines in gold finish and ebony fingerboard. The instrument's qualities are accentuated by a transparent pickguard, which protects the top's glossy lacquer from scratches while not interfering with the guitar's design.
