ESP LTD GH-600 BLK is the signature model of guitarist Gary Holt, the famous leader of thrash metal legend Exodus and current guitarist of Slayer.
The guitar catches the eye at first glance with the contrast of the dark body and the deep red pickups and binding that surrounds the entire construction of the instrument. The body itself is made of mahogany. The mahogany neck with a set-thru construction, i.e. a neck recessed deeper into the body, and a narrower fast Thin U profile is joined by a fingerboard made of Makasar ebony fitted with twenty-two Extra Jumbo frets. Orientation on its surface is facilitated by pearl blocks in a special design.
Two active EMG humbuckers provide the instrument's sound with the necessary fullness and precise articulation for vocal solos or chord breakdowns, as well as density and aggression for ultra-fast guitar shred and sharply chiseled rock and metal riffs. Two volume potentiometers equipped with a push/pull function are used to adjust the sound, allowing you to unzip the pickup coils and achieve a single-coil sound.
The strings are housed in Grover's high-quality tuning machines and a Floyd Rose 1000 double-turn tremolo to add impressive sound effects to your playing. Locks on the zero fret ensure maximum tuning stability even with frequent use of the lever.
