The E-II Horizon NT-7B Hipshot seven-string electric guitar impresses at first glance with its shimmering Purple Sparkle finish. The body construction is made of lightweight alder wings and a through-neck composed of three pieces of maple with a narrower fast Thin U profile. The ebony fingerboard surface is divided by twenty-four Extra Jumbo frets and offset position markers. Thanks to the longer, baritone, fingerboard gauge, the guitar is ready for more undertuning than the standard seven-string H tuning offers.
Two Fishman Fluence Modern active humbuckers with ceramic and alnico magnets give the guitar maximum sonic flexibility and the necessary drive ideal for modern metal and core genres. Controls in the form of a volume potentiometer with Push/Pull function, tone shutter and three-position pickup switch offer complete control over the sound of the pickups.
Tuning stability and good sustain are guaranteed by the string attachment in the high-quality Gotoh Locking Mechanisms and the solid Hipshot tailpiece with string anchorage through the body of the instrument. The range of quality components used is complemented by Schaller's safety strap locks.
The guitar comes in a carrying case.
ESP has been making electric guitars since 1984 and satisfied customers include Kirk Hammett, James Hetfield, Ronnie Wood and Max Cavalera.
