It's a great choice for musicians who don't like to lug around heavy equipment and are looking for a reliable and easy solution to common stage problems (tangles of interconnecting cables, ground loops, demoralizing dying battery signaling). Thanks to its compact size, it can also serve as a backup apparatus at any time.
The multieffect's two channels are stylishly named Wasser (clean channel) and Feuer (distorted channel). The clean channel features an output volume control, a two-band EQ, a simple compressor and a Bite (Presence Boost) button. The second channel has output volume controls, audio distortion rate (Drive) and a three-band EQ with a switchable centre frequency control.
The list of effects begins with a separate dual Boost function that lets you boost (+6 dB) and attenuate (-10 dB) the signal. The DLA section offers three more effects - a warm analog Delay with tape echo character, Vibrato and Ambience (Reverb). Delay and Vibrato can be controlled by a Tap Tempo switch in addition to their respective controls (Repeats/Time and Level/Time).
In addition to the aforementioned XLR, the multieffect also offers a standard 6.3 mm jack output, which can be changed to headphone output by pressing the button with the headphone icon or the handy backlight potentiometers. All this is part of a solid construction with high-quality metal switches (studio-grade) and input jacks.
The included 9V adapter is used to power the multieffect.
